Jaguars granted blackout extension

According to Vic Ketchman of Jaguars.com, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been granted an extension to avoid the blackout this weekend against the Oakland Raiders. The Jaguars have had steady sales of tickets this week, and as of yesterday needed 2,994 tickets to meet the blackout number (I'm pretty sure it's actually less than that and I'm getting the old cache on my browser here at the office). That's more tickets than they needed to move last time they needed an extension against the Houston Texans, but I'm fairly confident the Jaguars will continue their non-blackout streak this season.

UPDATE: Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union tweets that the Jaguars have roughly 1,700 tickets to sell to lift the blackout.
