Today is a Special Day

Not only does today post an amazing slate of college football games.

Not only is today the day before Jaguars football officially gets kicked off.

But, it's a very special day.

I just wanted to take the time to remember September 11, 2001. An infamous day ingrained in all of our hearts and minds. I know we have some readers in the military. My younger brother is in the Air Force and stationed in Jacksonville, Arkansas. My father and his brothers and my grandfather all served. I want to just put out a special thank you to those who serve and read our site.

I also wanted to take the time to remember. Where were you when September 11th happened?

I was at a medical lab, taking a urine test for a potential job. I think I wound up turning it down ultimately, but I remember vividly where I was and what I was doing. I sat in the lobby glued to the television, watching in utter shock and disbelief.
