For the third time in as many weeks, the Jaguars will be looking at one of the main QB prospects in the 2010 draft. Chris Steuber is reporting the Jaguars will be in attendance at the Florida State/BYU game and that QB Christian Ponder is the target. The Jaguars have already looked at Arizona QB Nick Foles and Washington QB Jake Locker this year.
In addition, the Jaguars will have scouts at Illinois/Northern Illinois, Southern Cal/Minnesota, Hawaii/Colorado, and Furman/South Carolina. South Carolina is clearly a team the Jaguars are targeting. This is the 2nd time they've had a scout at a Gamecocks game and were at South Carolina's practice earlier this week. Not sure who they're targeting just yet, but plenty of time to go before April.
