Updated: Jacksonville Jaguar Scouting Locations Week 1

College football starts up this week and that means the Jaguars scouts are busy heading to games and trying to find the next round of players to be in the Teal and Black. Chris Steuber of Scout.com is reporting the Jaguars sent scouts to the Southern Miss/South Carolina and Pittsburgh/Utah games last night. In addition, they'll have scouts at  Villanova/Temple and Arizona/Toldeo games tonight, and the Kent State/Murray State Saturday. Who are some of the players worth watching? After the jump we'll look.

Edit: Steuber has also reported the Jaguars will be present at the Western Michigan/Michigan St game Saturday.

A * indicates the prospect is a junior, players in italics are players I believe the Jaguars would be the most interested in, and a player that's slashed out either didn't play or isn't expected to play.

The player to watch, IMO, will be Arizona QB Nick Foles. Foles doesn't get a lot of talk because he's in the same conference as Jake Locker and Andrew Luck, but he's entering 2010 as a legit 2nd/3rd round option at QB. He has consistency issues to work out, and how he deals with them will most likely determine if he skips his senior season or not.

Wildcat C Colin Baxter is one of the top centers in college football and will be an early pick next April. He is certainly a possibility to succeed Brad Meester.
