According to multiple reports, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver will not fire head coach Jack Del Rio. After a long meeting that occurred when Jack Del Rio was originally scheduled to have his post-season press conference, multiple sources reported that Jack Del Rio's job was safe after pleading his case to Weaver. Don't forget, if Jack Del Rio were to have been fired, Weaver would still owe him $10 million over the final two years of his contract. Wayne Weaver will have a press conference at 5:30 today and Del Rio will meet with the media in the morning.
"I don't care what anyone says, whether fan or media person, Jack Del rio is perfect for this job and I wouldn't want to play for anyone else. Enough about JDR. He's perfect for us. We as players need to put in the effort like Jack does. Only if people knew how hard our coaches work," Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton said on twitter.
