Andrew Luck, who is the most consensus number one pick in the last decade, has decided to stay at Stanford for another season. "I am committed to earning my degree in architectural design from Stanford University and am on track to accomplish this at the completion of the spring quarter of 2012," Luck said in a statement. This means the Carolina Panthershave Luck'd out (get it?) in the draft, and will have to go another direction.
This also effects the Jaguars a bit, because it pushes other quarterbacks up the board and will also remove a player if the Panthers decide to not draft a quarterback. Previously with Luck as the sure fire No. 1 pick, it would push potential players down the board.
Crazy.
