Executive Vice President of Football Operations of the Denver Broncos John Elway tweeted today that he has been granted permission to interview Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator for the Broncos head coaching position. However likely Koetter is to get the job, it's telling that he is getting interest as an NFL head coach. Koetter's only experience in the NFL is as the Jaguars offensive coordinator, which he has been since the 2007 season. I've also heard some murmurs that some other teams are interested in Dirk Koetter in one capacity or another. As I mentioned earlier in the week, all of the Jaguars assistant coaches are on 1-year contracts and head coach Jack Del Rio said he would have no issues with the assistants getting work elsewhere, as coaches don't typically like to coach under single season contracts,
