Monday night's game in Everbank Field will be the first time the Jaguars have played in primetime since their disastrous 30-3 loss to the Titans on Oct. 18, 2010. While it's certainly a chance at redemption, the Jaguars' struggles in primetime extend beyond last year.
They are in the middle of a six game losing streak in primetime games and a three game losing streak on Monday nights. The last time the Jaguars won a primetime game was when they beat the Giants 26-10 on Monday, Nov. 20, 2006. That was a little over two months after their 9-0 win over the Steelers on a Monday night as well.
Prior to those two victories, the Jaguars were on another three game losing streak on Monday nights. In fact, since 2000 the Jaguars are 5-12 in primetime games and 2-6 on Monday night games.
The only time the Jaguars have ever played the Ravens in primetime was on a Sunday night during the 2000 season. The Jaguars lost that game 15-10.
