While most will scoff at the adulation of a placekicker, Jacksonville Jaguars fans love Josh Scobee. A lot of it has to do with the fact that he booms kicks, he's clutch, and he's fiesty. He's one of those kickers who's not afraid to mix it up. Plus, the ladies seem to like him. Aside from all of that, through seven games Scobee is a perfect 14 for 14 on field goals for the season.

Last night on prime time, Scobee drilled four of four field goals, including three from 50+ yards which tied an NFL record. Scobee hit twice from 54 yards and another from 51 yards in the fourth quarter. With his performance on Monday Night Football, Scobee could be making his push for his first ever Pro Bowl in 2011. On the season, Scobee is 5 for 5 on 50 yard field goals and another 4 from the 40-49 range giving him 9 total from 40+ yards.
