Since being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2009 NFL Draft, Terrance Knighton has started in and played in all 40 games the Jaguars have placed since, According to Knighton, had it not been for a bye week last week, that streak would have came to an end.
Tania Ganguli tweeted that Knighton is questionable this week with a bone bruise that he suffered in the Jaguars' week eight loss to the Houston Texans. After a bye week, Knighton returned to practice this week, but was limited in both Wednesday's and Thursday's practices. Ganguli tweeted earlier today that Knighton was not practicing with the starters during Friday's practice.
Despite all this, and Knighton's status as questionable, he told Ganguli that he expects to play on Sunday against the Colts.
In other injury news along the defensive line, Aaron Kampman has been ruled out of Sunday's game with a hamstring injury suffered in practice. John Chick is probable to make his return after an abdomenal injury withheld him from the game against the Texans.
