Maurice Jones-Drew pushing for Greg Jones to make the Pro Bowl

In a video released today on Jaguars.com, two time Pro Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew lays out the reasons why 8th year fullback Greg Jones should be voted to the Pro Bowl this year.

"You can ask around the league about Greg Jones and people are going to tell you he's the best fullback in the league, hands down. Whoever goes against Greg Jones, 10 times out of 10 won't win, simple as that."

Although Jones was a alternate for the Pro Bowl in 2007, he didn't get in and this year would be his first ever trip to the Pro Bowl. Jones-Drew has even taken his campaign to Twitter where he has urged fans to vote for the fullback.

Yesterday, the NFL released the voting results so far and the Jaguars and Jones are out to a slow start. Only Jones-Drew and kicker Josh Scobee are in the top five among their positions in the AFC. Jones-Drew is fourth among running backs and Scobee is second among kickers, behind only Sebastian Janikowski of the Raiders.
