I’ve been using Pro Football Focus to do breakdowns of the Jaguars’ games each week, and from the feedback I’ve received you guys seem to find them very informative. With the bye falling directly in the middle of the season, this seemed like the perfect time to take a look at Pro Football Focus’ grades with respect to the season as a whole.
The confidence in Blaine Gabbert remains high. Brad Meester said that’s true not only when it comes to how Gabbert feels about himself, but how his teammates feel about the Jaguars’ rookie quarterback. Have there been struggles this season? Has there been criticism?

If the Jaguars had as many wins this season as the number of times owner Wayne Weaver has denied an imminent sale of the team, there’d be no problem filling up EverBank Field. For whatever reason, the rumor about Weaver possibly selling an interest in the team to FedEx owner Fred Smith keeps resurfacing. I asked Weaver about it directly after the Jaguars-Baltimore Ravens game and he twice replied: "There’s nothing to it."
