The Jaguars lost a quarterbacks coach for the second time this offseason. Todd Monken left the franchise to take a position as offensive coordinator for Oklahoma State. Monken coached the Jaguars’ receivers for the past four seasons and was promoted to quarterbacks coach last month, when Mike Shula took a similar job with the Carolina Panthers.

The Jaguars hired former Times-Union reporter John Oehser to replace Vic Ketchman as a senior writer for Jaguars.com. Oehser covered the Jaguars’ first six seasons for the Times-Union, along with CBSSports.com’s Pete Prisco. In all, Oehser spent 12 years with the Times-Union. Ketchman left the Jaguars for a similar position with the Green Bay Packers. Oehser spent the past 10 seasons in Indianapolis, initially working for the Colts and writing for Colts.com. He also covered the Colts for CBSSports.com and then worked for AOL Fanhouse.
