New format for this section...I'm going to list how well-off the team is at each position.
QB: Decent. Colt McCoy may or may not be the guy of the future, but he's at worst a serviceable backup. Delhomme should've been cut with the rest of the chaff.
RB: Solid. Peyton Hillis had a great year but wore down at the end. Montario Hardesty missed the entire season.
WR: Awful. Mohamed Massaquoi is the only decent receiver, and even he's not that good. Need help!
TE: Solid. Ben Watson had a nice year, and Evan Moore is a decent backup.
OL: Solid. Very underrated group. Joe Thomas is a monster and Alex Mack is very good as well.
DL: Needs help. They just cut Shaun Rogers, and their DE aren't exactly world-beaters.
LB: Needs help. D'Qwell Jackson is a free agent, and they really don't have any legitimate pass-rushers.
DB: Solid. Joe Haden had a very solid rookie year, and Eric Wright and Sheldon Brown are solid at corner as well. Could use safety help.
The rules:
The voting will be open for somewhere in the neighborhood of two or three days per pick. If it's obvious which player has been voted for the pick I'll close the voting and open the next one. Vote for the player YOU THINK THE TEAM WILL PICK, not who YOU would pick if you were the GM. The point of this is to have what BCC feels is an accurate representation of the picks leading up to Jacksonville's pick at 16. If we go fairly quickly, we can continue on and try to get to the Jaguars' second-round pick before the actual draft.
You will have at least seven choices to vote for per pick. If you would like to vote for a player who isn't listed, post "Write-in vote for ___________". If the player you want to write in is already posted, please rec that post.
If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them in the thread. Vote away!
