Greg Romeus 2011 NFL Draft Profile

Alfie's Player Ranking 83 out of 100
Projected Round: 3-4

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 83rd ranked player, Pittsburgh defensive end Greg Romeus.

Height: 6-6
Weight: 270lbs

PROS: Very athletic pass rusher. Long arms and uses his hands well. Tackles well and gets double teamed. Athletic enough to drop into coverage and may have the ability to transition to outside linebacker in the NFL. Good size already but his frame will allow him to bulk up. Huge upside.

CONS: Inconsistent motor and can get washed out of running plays and dominated at the point of attack. Conditioning is an issue and doesn’t pursue well from the backside. Was injured prior to the start of the 2010 season and didn’t show well when he came back. Tore his ACL in mid-November. Doubtful to be able to work out pre-draft for teams.
