Jalil Brown 2011 NFL Draft Profile

Alfie's Player Ranking 82 out of 100
Projected Round: 3-4

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 82nd ranked player, Colorado defensive back Jalil Brown.

Height: 6-0
Weight: 202lbs

PROS: Physical corner with good size for the position. Doesn’t get blocked out of running plays often. Can knock receivers off of their route and jam them at the line of scrimmage. Good speed for his size and does a good job of watching the quarterbacks eyes in coverage. Better in man to man than zone.

CONS: Can get caught dropping his head when tackling, which leads to some misses. Doesn’t have the greatest speed. Gets beat deep at times because of his lack of speed and is known as a gambler. Consistent effort is a big question mark, doesn’t always chase plays.
