Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 80th ranked player, Mississippit State defensive end Parnell McPhee.
Height: 6-3
Weight: 275lbs
PROS: Good pass rusher with long arms. Has good quickness for his size. Has a good bull rush and can collapse the pocket. Holds up against the point of attack and plays the run well. Good motor and plays with discipline. Could fit as a 3-4 defensive end or a 4-3 left end.
CONS: Not very sudden or explosive. Slow rushing off the edge and relies on his power to rush the passer. Will over persue plays and get caught out of position. Was a sack artist at the JUCO level but struggled to get sacks when he moved to the SEC.
