Luke Stocker 2011 NFL Draft Profile

Alfie's Player Ranking 70 out of 100
Projected Round: 3

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 70th ranked player, Tennessee tight end Luke Stocker.

Height: 6-4

Weight: 255lbs

PROS: Good size for the tight end position. Runs good routes and is a good receiver. Has soft hands and doesn’t drop many passes. Knows how to find holes in zone coverage and is a good red zone target. Good in line blocker than can seal the edge and make blocks down the field. Played through injuries, tough player.

CONS: Top end speed is a question. Will need to add some bulk to be a true in-line blocker in the NFL. Won’t make people miss in the open field. Allows defenders to make first contact when blocking and will tend to lean into his blocks.
