Curtis Brown 2011 NFL Draft Profile

Alfie's Player Ranking 60 out of 100
Projected Round: 2-3

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 60th ranked player, Texas defensive back Curtis Brown.

Height: 6-0

Weight: 180lbs

PROS: Good height for the corner position. Has good speed for the position and will be able to run with most receivers. Good in both man and zone coverage. Teams avoided him his final season at Texas. Should contribute on special teams right away and has no durability issues.

CONS: Production leaves a lot to be desired, but teams avoided him at times. Only two interceptions in four years of playing time. Lacks great recovery speed and can be beat over the top. Missed tackles in the open field and can get blocked out of plays rather easily, not very physical.
