Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 53rd ranked player, North Carolina linebacker Bruce Carter.
Height: 6-3
Weight: 230lbs
PROS: Excellent athlete with great speed for his size. Plays good coverage in the zone. Great fundamentals and doesn’t make many mistakes. Takes good angles. Very hard worker with lots of upside.
CONS: Tore his ACL towards the end of the 2010 season that will keep him unable to workout for a little while, so it will push him down boards. Lacks aggression and worries about being in the right place rather than potentially making a big play. Can get caught in trash close to the line of scrimmage.
