Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 52nd ranked player, Hampton defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis.
Height: 6-5
Weight: 340lbs
PROS: Can get in the backfield and disrupt. Knows how to collapse the pocket and penetrate. Knows how to get off his blocks and can knock down passes at the line of scrimmage. Plays with a good motor and mean.
CONS: Inconsistent and doesn’t command double teams. Plays too upright at times and can get knocked off balance. Has conditioning and work habit issues. Major character concerns. Kicked off South Carolina after 2007 and arrested prior to the 2010 season.
