The Tennessee Titans have officially announced that Mike Munchack is the new head coach. This was an expected hire by most who cover the Titans, but many may view it as being a cheap hire. I'm kind of indifferent on it, as I don't know much about him. I do know however, you could argue this saves the Titans from installing new systems as a whole this off-season, but the Titans lost quite a few coaches this season already. I really didn't expect the Titans to go after any of the big "name" coaches like Jon Gruden or Bill Cowher. They entered the coaching race rather late, so even if Munchak is just temporary in Tennessee, it's a safe hire.
