Matt Maiocco has an interesting pick for the Jaguars in his 2011 NFL Mock Draft

Matt Maiocco, the beat writer for the San Franciso 49ers has put out his first 2011 NFL Mock Draft of the season. He's got some interesting and surprising picks in his mock. Not to spoil it, but he has Auburn's Cam Newton going first overall to the Carolina Panthers. I'm not sure I think that will happen, but I do think it's very very possible. Some other surprises he has is Colorado's Jimmy Smith going 12th overall to the Minnesota Vikings and he has Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett falling all the way to the 25th spot to the Seattle Seahawks. So, who does he have going to the Jacksonville Jaguars?

None other than Tyson Alualu's former college teammate, Cameron Jordan. I'm not sure Jordan will make it to 16th overall, but I can't think of a better "BAP" type pick there. Jordan's versatile with the ability to play insider or outside, and he has a non-stop motor like Alualu.
