Alfie's Player Ranking 90 out of 100
Projected Round: 4
Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 90th ranked player, Delaware quarterback Pat Devlin.
Height: 6-4
Weight: 225lbs
PROS: Strong arm that can make all of the NFL throws. Very accurate with the football and throws a nice deep ball. Doesn’t turn the football over very often and sets up his receivers well for yards after the catch. Works the deep middle of the football field well with crossing patterns and deep posts.
CONS: His play week to week is consistent and that showed up at the East West Shrine Game practice week. Needs to work on his footwork and setup. Will need to work on taking snaps from under center. Will draw comparisons to Joe Flacco because of career path and school, but they’re not really alike. Level of competition will be a concern.
