2011 NFL Draft Profile: Rahim Moore

Alfie's Player Ranking 51 out of 100
Projected Round: 2-3

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 51st ranked player, UCLA safety Rahim Moore.

Height: 6-1

Weight: 195lbs

PROS: Very productive ball hawk, 14 interceptions in his three year career at UCLA. Started every season in his college career, durability isn’t a concern. Has good speed and can stay with  most receivers. Takes good angles in pursuit and is a sure tackler. Not a big hitter but rather wraps up. Good motor and great instincts in zone coverage. More of a traditional free safety, but likely could play strong safety in the NFL.

CONS: Thinner than most scouts look for in a safety for his size, may need to add 10 pounds or so. Can get blocked out of plays and often lets a receiver get an extra yard or two when making a tackle, drags receivers down instead of planting them. Not very good in man coverage.
