2011 NFL Draft Profile: Nate Solder

Alfie's Player Ranking 24 out of 100
Projected Round: 1

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 24th ranked player, Colorado offensive tackle Nate Solder.

Height: 6-8

Weight: 314lbs

PROS: Very athletic for his size. Long arms and quick feet, intelligent player. Stays in front of the defender and has good bend in his knees. Good run blocker that stays on his blocks and has good power. Hard worker, more of a wall defender.

CONS: Very sloppy kick slide. Might be a right tackle at the NFL level. Can get over extended and lean because of his height. Too upright when run blocking and can get over powered. Sometimes struggles to hold the point.
