Alfie's Player Ranking 14 out of 100
Projected Round: 1

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 14th ranked player, Southern Cal offensive tackle Tyron Smith.

Height: 6-5

Weight: 285lbs

PROS: Athletic offensive lineman with long arms. Shows a good punch on defensive ends to knock them off balance. Holds up well in the running game despite being a little light in the pants. Doesn’t get fooled by spin moves. Blocks well in space and stays with the defender.

CONS: Projects as an NFL left tackle but played only on the right side at USC so will need some time to adjust. Can get over powered and bull rushed by big defensive lineman. Will need to work on his drop and kick step if he moves to the left side. Could bend better when anchoring and taking on speed rushers.
