Alfie's Player Ranking 12 out of 100
Projected Round: 1

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 12th ranked player, California defensive lineman Cameron Jordan.

Height: 6-4

Weight: 287lbs

PROS: Great athleticism for his size. Very versatile lineman who can fit as a 4-3 left end, defensive tackle, or a 3-4 defensive end. Good pass rusher from anywhere on the defensive line and explosive off the snap of the ball. Should be a fast riser like his former teammate Tyson Alualu. Good balance and plays the run well. Very powerful player who knows how to club and use a variety of rush moves. Has experience playing all over the line in Cal’s 3-4 scheme. Son of former NFL tight end Steve Jordan.

CONS: Doesn’t yet have a true position and will depend on the scheme of the team who drafts him. Inconsistent player who plays too high sometimes and doesn’t use leverage. Had a DUI to start the 2008 season that forced him to miss the season opener. Has no experience playing on a four-man defensive line.
