Alfie's Player Ranking out of 100
Projected Round: 1

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 7th ranked player, North Carolina defensive end/linebacker Robert Quinn.

Height: 6-5

Weight: 254lbs.

PROS: Very good athlete for his size. Long arms and a big frame, can disrupt passing lanes. Very good pass rusher standing up and with his hand on the ground. Quick first step off the snap of the football and has excellent acceleration from a standstill. Stays low when engaged and knows how to finish on the quarterback. Gets penetration into the backfield on rushing and passing plays.

CONS: Suspended for the entire 2010 NCAA season for involvement with an agent, so he has a year out of football. Doesn’t posses a great bull rush and lacks strength. Viewed as a "tweener" player. Is he a best fit as a 3-4 linebacker or a 4-3 defensive end? Struggles to get off blocks and relies on his overall speed too often to get to the quarterback.
