NFL, NFLPA Get 24-Hour Extension on the CBA

Kara Henderson of NFL Network is reporting that the NFL and NFLPA have agreed to a 24-hour extension of the current CBA in order to further negotiate a new CBA. This shouldn't be a real surprise at all, as neither side really wants a lockout. We'll have another day of "CBA WATCH" after all. It's not a new CBA, but it's better than the alternative with the NFL locking out and the NFLPA decertifying and filing an anti-trust lawsuit.

Update: Turns out, the 24-hour extension is to negotiate another extension. It's an extension for an extension.
