Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 43rd ranked player, TCU offensive lineman Marcus Cannon.
Height: 6-5
Weight: 350lbs
PROS: Massive offensive lineman that is hard to move. Athletic enough to potentially play right tackle, but best fit is inside at a guard position. Long arms and can dominate in the running game. Is quick off the snap and has a good punch, will drive the defenders off the football. Anchors well, works hard, and plays mean.
CONS: Weight can be a potential issue. While quick off the ball to block for the run, he lags a bit setting up for the pass. Might be best suited as a right guard. Can miss picking up blitzing linebackers or quicker lineman on a stunt.
