Alfie's Player Ranking 40 out of 100
Projected Round: 1-2

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 40th ranked player, Florida State offensive lineman Rodney Hudson.

Height: 6-2

Weight: 291lbs

PROS: Loads of experience in the ACC, started from his freshman season. Athletic guard who can also double as a center. Has good footwork and uses his hands to punch the defender. Quick off the snap of the ball to engage and keeps his head up most of the time. Good pass blocker that bends his knees. Adequate in run blocking but better in a zone blocking scheme than straight up.

CONS: Considered undersized at just under 300lbs. Will need to add some weight when he gets to an NFL camp. Can get bullrushed backwards at times and will lean into his blocks, needs to anchor better especially if a team plans to play him at center. Missed a few games with a minor knee injury, but overall is very durable.
