2011 NFL Draft Profile: Allen Bailey

Alfie's Player Ranking 35 out of 100
Projected Round: 1-2

Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 35th ranked player, Miami (FL) defensive lineman Allen Bailey.

Height: 6-3

Weight: 278

PROS: Explosive pass rusher, physical freak. Just blow up the combine tests. Long arms, quick speed, and disruptive in the backfield. Can rush the passer from the inside at the defensive tackle position. Good motor and tough, played through a torn pec muscle in 2008. Great leaper, can disrupt passing lanes.

CONS: Inconsistent performer and can play too stiff. Had a back injury in high school that may scare off some teams. Doesn’t really have a true position. Doesn’t always play up to his talent level. Tries to spin move but it isn’t very effective. Can get redirected and turned when rushing.
