I have the Ravens needs as WR, DE, CB, ILB, RG or RT.
In the real world the Ravens would be targeting one of the DEs at this stage but, If, arguably, the best tackle in the draft falls to 26, patience will pay off and GM Ozzie Newsome will luck in again with BAP and laugh all the way to the bank.
This situation is strikingly similar to 2009 when they landed ‘Blindside' Oher at 23, except this time they don't have to trade up or in 2007 when they got Ben Grubbs at 29. Anthony Castonzo is GM Jrs 8th ranked player in his draft guide and this represents massive value, picking busts-to-be Solder, Pouncey and Watkins above him is unlikely. The Ravens O-line is LT Jared Gaither away from being very good. Last season, they shifted Oher from RT to LT and guard Yanda from RG to RT with average results. Picking up Castonzo allows them to shift Yanda back to guard with ‘Big Hurt' Ben Grubbs and have Oher and himself contest the LT and RT spots, shoring up the line instantly. They may still get Gaither but can lowball him with Castonzo on board.
A lot of draftniks have WR Torrey Smith going here but he's a whole round reach. The alternate pick for me would be DE Cameron Heyward whose power and run stopping suits the Ravens 3-4 or Aldon Smith for grooming under Ray Lewis and Suggs as a situational 3-4 OLB.
