Jaguars Bring in Central Michigan DB Vince Agnew

The Jacksonville Jaguars brought in Central Michigan defensive back Vince Agnew for a private workout on Sunday, Big Cat Country has learned. Agnew played the cornerback position at Central Michigan, but will get looks at cornerback and safety for the NFL. Agnew's impressive Pro-Day raised some eyebrows from some NFL scouts.

Vince Agnew (5-10, 192lbs) ran a 4.38 and 4.40 in the 40-yard dash. He had a 39 1/2 vertical jump, an 11.2 broad jump, 4.18 short shuttle, 6.68 three cone drill and did 14 reps on the bench press of 225lbs. Agnew may not get a look at cornerback at the NFL level, as some teams might want to transition him to the free safety position. Currently, Agnew looks to be a potential late round pick, but most likely will wind up an undrafted free agent. Agnew does have speed however, and that's hard for some teams to pass up.
