Mike Mayock's 2011 NFL Mock Draft

New, comments

I don't want to overload with mock drafts today, but I do want to throw out which expert picks what for the Jacksonville Jaguars. I always like to see how close or far off they were when the pick actually rolls around. Mike Mayock of NFL Network released his first and only 2011 NFL Mock Draft late last night. His pick is kind of a status quo pick and coming amonst mock drafts.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars - Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue

This pick has GM Gene Smith's fingerprints all over it. Kerrigan is special. He's a great complement to Aaron Kampman on the other side for a poor pass-rush team. Could be a heck of a front line with recent DT draft picks Tyson Alualu and Terrance Knighton.

With all the reported "love" and heavy interest in Ryan Kerrigan, I just have a hard time seeing the Jaguars drafting him. It's one of those "too easy" things, you know?
