2011 NFL Draft: Jaguars Select Will Rackley

In the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select offensive guard Will Rackley from Lehigh with the 76th overall pick. Just like in the first round the Jaguars moved up a few spots to make sure to get their man. Rackley had a great week of the East West Shrine game and had been high on a lot of teams boards.

The Jaguars follow the trend of pairing a first round quarterback with another offensive player with their next pick. To move up to 76, the Jaguars gave up the 80th overall pick and their 6th round pick (182).

Height: 6-3

Weight: 309lbs

PROS: Has good arm length and is known as a hard worker. Uses his hands well and excels blocking in the pass game. Keeps his legs moving well in his blocks and redirects nicely. Blocks well in the running game. Finishes his blocks through the whistle and plays with the mean streak teams look for in their offensive lineman.

CONS: Bends inconsistently. Not very explosive or sudden and can get high and upright in his blocks at times. Looks a bit stiff in space. Struggles breaking down in space. Can struggle with stunts and blitzes at times.
