Writer's Block

I'm going to be perfectly honest. There's not a whole lot to write about. Link drops around the web are at an all-time high. Just today, I saw a link drop that linked to another link drop. This lockout is like a sick joke on bloggers. How are we supposed to keep our sanity with such a situation.

I read sometime earlier this week that the Jaguars and the Panthers should embrace the spread offense in 2011. I'm sorry I can't remember where I read this, but I can tell you that the Jaguars won't be running a spread offense any time in the near future.

First off, Blaine Gabbert already has a playbook. He'll be spending the summer learning the Jaguars PRO offense. Secondly, the Jaguars won't be starting Blaine Gabbert in 2011. Sure, Cam Newton will likely be the starter in Carolina, but David Garrard will most likely be the starter for the Jaguars. So, we can put this "rumor" to bed.

That's all I've got for you today. I'll keep my ears open for any new news, but I can't promise anything. Hopefully something happens in the court system to keep us occupied. Because after all, I haven't had my fill of lockout court news this off-season (sarcasm alert).
