Friday Thought Drop

Today is moving day for me, so; it seemed like a great time to unload two weeks worth of thoughts on you. A lot has happened in the last two weeks. Unfortunately, the CBA situation has deteriorated quite a bit. More on that another time. Let's get to the thoughts.

First and foremost, the Jaguars won't be moving to Toronto anytime soon. Let's put that rumor to bed.

Draft grades are a lot like mock drafts. Everyone knows they are useless, but we still love to look at them. I don't see a problem with projections like these. After all, do we really want to talk about the CBA until August?

Speaking of mock drafts, Todd McShay has one out for 2012. The order is based on ESPN's power rankings. I like analysis a lot, but that's crazy.

I've been analyzing Peyton Manning's statistics the past couple days, and I have to say, his stat charts are exactly what you want to see in a quarterback. Shocker, I know.

ESPN is doing a list of top 10 owners. That's such a joke. Who in their right mind puts together top 10 lists? *snicker snicker*

Cam Newton may want the number 2, but the classy thing to do is to let Jimmy keep it, and choose another number. Once Clausen is gone, take it then, but he shouldn't be doing anything confrontational. Be a nice guy. That's all I'm saying.

At first I "sided with the owners," but now I think they're being very greedy too. Now, I side with myself (and all the other fans that can't stand either side). This is to the NFL owners and the NFLPA: If you want me to side with you, give me football in the fall.

I like the way the whole Blaine Gabbert vs. Jake Locker situation could play out. It may end up being comparable to Jay Cutler vs. Phillip Rivers before Josh McDaniels destroyed the Broncos.

That's all I've got guys. Have a great weekend, and we'll see you back here on Monday.
