Another week of the locked out off-season is in the books. There are signs of progress being made, however, and in a few weeks it's possible the lockout will be no more. I really hope that's not just wishful thinking, but who knows. Anyways, there's not much more to say about that right now. I guess let's just dive right in.
Did everyone see the Vancouver Canucks' fans singing along during Canada's national anthem? That was cool. Rioting after losing a game 7 is not. A select few idiots made Vancouver look like a city of idiots, and that's just not acceptable. Don't judge the whole city based on a few jackasses.
In lighter news, the Jacksonville Sharks are now 11-1. There next game is this Saturday at 7 PM against the Milwaukee Mustangs (4-8).
If insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result, what does that make NASCAR?
I wonder how many people actually believe that Blaine Gabbert will start meaningful games this season for the Jaguars. It just isn't happening if David Garrard is healthy. That's all I'll say about that right now. I'm sure it'll be discussed once we see Gabbert play in the pre-season.
I think we may be surprised how quickly the talks of the Jaguars moving to L.A. will cease once the Jaguars start making the playoffs and filling their stadium on a regular basis. In the end, I think the Raiders may end up back in Southern California.
That's all I've got for you. It's been a mellow week, and I'm okay with that. Have a great weekend everyone.
