Jacksonville Jaguars runningback Rashad Jennings missed practice this afternoon with an apparent minor head injury. The team did not disclose what the injury was, but the team did say it was nothing serious. Newly acquired linebacker Clint Session was also held out of practice today with a head injury as well. It was thought Session suffered a concussion during Thursday nights game against the New England Patriots, but he was cleared to re-enter the game. Neither is suspected of actually having a concussion, but teams are also not required to disclose injuries during the pre-season, so the full extent of their injuries is unknown. It is believed both were held out as a precaution.
Jennings and Session both had solid outings during the game. Jennings had six carries for 28 yards, while Session had two tackles and forced two fumbles. Their status for Friday's game against the Atlanta Falcons at this time is unknown, but I would be surprised if neither played.
