The Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Buffalo, New York this weekend to take on the Buffalo Bills in their third preseason game of 2011. Unfortunately for Bills fans not at the game, it will be blacked out locally. I'm not putting this post up as a "neener-neener" to Bills fans, because Lord knows we've got our own problems, but it shows that ticket sales issues are not just an isolated thing in Jacksonville.
Matter of fact, the last time the Jaguars traveled to Buffalo (last season) the game was blacked out. Last night in Cincinnati, the game between the Bengals and Carolina Panthers was blacked out with just over 40,000 in attendance. In the previous week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were blacked out and look like they will once again very likely black out the entire season. While Jacksonville is struggling with their own ticket problems, it just goes to show it's a league-wide problem.
