According to Kassim Osgood, Fred Taylor will retire as a Jaguar tomorrow.

According to Jacksonville Jaguars special teams ace Kassim Osgood, former Jacksonville Jaguars runningback Fred Taylor will officially retire as a Jaguar tomorrow.

Fred Taylor retires as a Jaguar tomorrow. A true professional and a great guy. Hard worker.

The news of Taylor wanting to retire as a Jaguar isn't a shocker, he said as much when the time would finally come. Taylor retires as the Jaguars all-time rushing leader and ranks 15th all-time in NFL history in rushing yards with 11,695 yards on the ground. Taylor was drafted with the 9th overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft and spent the 2008 through 2008 seasons with the Jaguars. For his career, he surprisingly only made one Pro Bowl, late in his career in 2007.

Taylor will sign a one-day contract with the Jaguars tomorrow and officially announce his retirement. His place in the Jaguars Ring of Honor shouldn't be too far behind. Taylor is arguably the best Jacksonville Jaguars player in franchise history. There will be a live press conference/announcement schedule tomorrow to be streamed live on Jaguars.com at 11:30 AM.
