The Jacksonville Jaguars have finally hired a quarterbacks coach. The team will hire former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Greg Olson, according to a team release.

Olson is in his 11th season in the NFL and his seventh as an offensive coordinator. For the past three years he was the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Olson was the quarterbacks coach when he joined the Buccaneers in 2008 and he worked closely with quarterback Josh Freeman throughout his time there. He also served as offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions in 2005 and St. Louis Rams in 2006-07.

Olson has experience working with quarterbacks. He worked with Josh Freeman, Mark Bulger, Jeff Garcia, and Drew Brees when Brees was at Purdue. Olson also worked with the Detroit Lions under Steve Mariucci working with Joey Harrington. According to the release, Olson will also hold the title of assistant head coach along with defensive coordinator Mel Tucker.
