Schottenheimer, the son of long time NFL coach Marty Shottenheimer, has been the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets since 2006. Prior to taking that position he was a quarterbacks coach for the San Diego Chargers from 2002-2005 under his father and the quarterback coach for the Washington Redskins in 2002. Prior to that, he had work as an offensive assistant in college at schools like USC and Syracuse.
