While there was speculation that Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson could be inactive for Sunday's Week 9 game at EverBank Field against the Jaguars after being listed as questionable, the two-time All-Pro is active and is expected to start for the 3-4 Lions. Also active, though, is Jaguars cornerback Derek Cox who was also listed as questionable from a back injury that withheld him from action in Week 8.
With Maurice Jones-Drew still out and an injury forcing Greg Jones out of the lineup, the Jaguars rushing offense will have to rely on Rashad Jennings and perhaps the recently-activated Will Ta'ufo'ou, who was on the practice squad until Saturday.
More likely, though, will be another game in which the Jaguars look to emphasize the passing game with Blaine Gabbert and a wide receiving corps that will feature Laurent Robinson among its ranks for the first time since concussions forced him out of the lineup in Week 4 against the Bengals.
The Jaguars will be wearing black jerseys with black pants for the game.
