The Jaguars are a bad football team and seem to be particularly bad when they're playing at EverBank Field. In the first half of their Week 9 game against the Detroit Lions, the Jaguars allowed 285 total yards of offense, while managing to earn just 57 of their own.
The first first down for the Jaguars didn't come until their fourth possession of the game and was met with sarcastic applause from a crowd that cheered because Guy Whimper was declared an eligible receiver just a few plays earlier.
As for the Lions, they had very little problem making up for a scoreless first quarter by methodically driving the field for three touchdowns in the second. Mikel Leshoure finished the half with three touchdowns and 52 yards rushing on 13 attempts, while injured receiver Calvin Johnson racked up 111 yards receiving on six receptions as he consistently beat Derek Cox.
What's the good news? Well, not much. Mike Thomas hasn't done anything, so that's good, I guess?
