In their fourth home game of the year at EverBank Field, the Jaguars looked utterly out-matched and were embarrassed for a fourth time, as they lost 31-14 to the Detroit Lions.
After a strong offensive showing against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, the offense looked anything but strong as they were unable to get a single first down in the first three drives and allowed the Lions to have nearly a quarter's worth of possession more than them in the first half.
The Lions took advantage with three rushing touchdowns from Mikel Leshoure to get out to a 21-0 lead. Any semblance of a comeback for the Jaguars was quelled in the third quarter as Blaine Gabbert threw two interceptions. The first was a deep attempt to Justin Blackmon that was overthrown and not fought for by Blackmon, while the second was off the hands of Rashad Jennings.
While the Jaguars found the end zone in the fourth quarter it was too little, too late and did nothing more than save the team from the embarrassment from a home shutout.
