It's bowl season, which means for fans of teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars, it's a good time to get a view of some upcoming draft prospects. Many people think the Jaguars will be on the hunt for a quarterback in the 2013 NFL Draft and the Pinstripe Bowl has two good prospects fans can take a look at.
For Syracuse, Ryan Nassib will be playing his final game for the Orange and is a prospect many view could be a 2nd or 3rd round pick that should get quickly acclimated to the NFL game. West Virginia has Geno Smith, whom most fans are very familiar with as he's likely a Top 10 pick in the upcoming draft.
Here's what Mocking The Draft has to say about the two quarterbacks:
Both starting quarterbacks, Geno Smith of West Virginia and Ryan Nassib of Syracuse, will get drafted in April. Smith is assuredly a first-round pick while Nassib has the arm strength to be an intriguing player who could possibly be a top 100 pick. Neither quarterback has officially been announced for an offseason all-star game.
Outside of the two quarterbacks, many will have their eyes on WVU's two wide receivers, Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey. Another player to watch for Syracuse is safety Shamarko Thomas and their left tackle, who could be a Top 64 pick in April.
