Jaguars GM job could be NFL's most attractive

The Jaguars and the Jets each asked permission to interview San Francisco 49ers director of player personnel, Tom Gamble, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Browns, Cardinals and Chargers are also in the market for general managers after firing theirs on Monday as well; however, the job in Jacksonville may be the most attractive of them all.

With two top 33 selections and no players that are "must plays" like perhaps Brandon Weeden of the Browns. In fact, the Jaguars are very much a clean slate for a general manager that can shape the team entirely in the manner that he exists.

Is money an issue? Not at all with Shahid Khan reportedly prepared to spend the money necessary to make the Jaguars a winner in a hurry. Couple that with plenty of cap space and a team that is devoid of bad contracts like the Mark Sanchez mess that the next GM will have to deal with, and the Jaguars are the perfect canvas to build from scratch.

If there's any question whether or not the Jaguars will be able to lure a top candidate, there's no reason to think otherwise. Perhaps, the only possible reservation would be if the job came with an owner that would twist the GM's arm to bring Tim Tebow to the team.

Seeing as that's unlikely to be the case, the Jaguars are as attractive as any job available and there's no reason that the team wont be able to hire any executive they want. At the top of that wish list could be Gamble.
